meet the artist

Leann, the founder of Brush + Key Artistry, has been passionately creating art for more than 25 years. Leann graduated from UW-Stout in 2004, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Design and Psychology minor. She has a special interest in the human mind and learning about what makes us tick, spending much of her free time reading or listening to audiobooks, podcasts or any kind of music that speaks to her. She enjoys the creative process and can often be found experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, crafting tasty desserts, refinishing and painting furniture - yes, you can paint the cushions! - repurposing broken things, designing digital art, drawing, and painting. 

The world is her canvas! 

While she most adores painting and drawing, her most brilliant masterpieces by far are her children. As a wife and mom of six, human connection is the driving force in both her approach to life as well as her art. In her everyday life she focuses on family, personal growth and nurturing those around her. As an artist, she strives to connect with each piece on a spiritual level, creating the depth and soul that brings the subjects of her art to life.
